Prior to the Series, I picked Montreal in 5…
Montreal is in great shape after 3 games. The Rangers need to take Game 4. New York does not want to see Montreal take this series home with the opportunity to deliver the knockout blow at home.

Game 7 Tuesday 25 April at Washington [If Necessary]
Prior to Series, I picked Washington in 4…
How many hands would be raised in response to the question “is it possible that the Leafs could ever lead this series against the Caps?” Outside Toronto, I dare say there would be no hands in the air. And yet Toronto is now leading this series after 3 games, with Game 4 also at home. I for one am in shock! And yet this proves why the NHL is so exciting.
Timotheus Picks – 1 points of possible 6 (17%)
2 points for regulation win for predicted series victor; 1 for overtime win…

Game 7 Tuesday 25 April at Pittsburgh [If Necessary]
Prior to Series, I picked Pittsburgh in 6…
Columbus is in a world of trouble. They just don’t seem to be able to keep up with the Penguins. Likely, this series ends tomorrow. If not, it’s hard to imagine this series not ending in the following game in Pittsburgh.

2 points for regulation win for predicted series victor; 1 for overtime win…
West – Central Bracket
Chicago Blackhawks -vs- Nashville Predators

Game 4 Thursday 20 April at Nashville
Game 5 Saturday 22 April at Chicago [If Necessary]
Game 6 Monday 24 April at Nashville [If Necessary]
Game 7 Wednesday 26 April at Chicago [If Necessary]
Prior to the Series, I picked Chicago in 7…
I’m in complete shock in this series. The Blackhawks are MIA! Nashville has owned them. The silver lining for Chicago is at least they managed a goal; twice. But now an elimination Game looms for Chicago in front of a Nashville fan base who smells blood, who is convinced this is their year! I think Chicago is done. It’s hard to see Nashville letting up on them now.
Timotheus Picks – 0 points of possible 6 (0%)
2 points for regulation win for predicted series victor; 1 for overtime win…
Minnesota Wild -vs- St. Louis Blues
Game 1 Wednesday 12 April at Minnesota Blues 2, Wild 1 [OT]
Game 2 Friday 14 April at Minnesota Blues 2, Wild 1
Game 3 Sunday 16 April at St. Louis Blues 3, Wild 1

Game 4 Wednesday 19 April at St. Louis
Game 5 Saturday 22 April at Minnesota [If Necessary]
Game 6 Monday 24 April at St. Louis [If Necessary]
Game 7 Wednesday 26 April at Minnesota [If Necessary]
Prior to the Series, I picked Minnesota in 6…
The Wild nightmare continues, though perhaps not for long. Jake Allen is playing extraordinary hockey; like he is trying to win the Stanley Cup MVP award in the first round! The Wild need to find a way to get this series back home. If it were not for the Blues’ goalie, I’d say Minnesota will find a way to take Game 4. I’m not sure I’m ready to say the Wild have no chance, but they need some help. That help needs to be a lack of support for Allen by his own team, and perhaps a lucky bounce or two.
Timotheus Picks – 0 points of possible 6 (0%)
2 points for regulation win for predicted series victor; 1 for overtime win…
West – Pacific Bracket

Prior to the Series, I picked Anaheim in 6…
Sorry, Calgary, it just isn’t your time yet. Anaheim knows how to turn it on this time of year. Unlike other teams for whom that description has fit [Chicago], Anaheim is actually doing it!
Timotheus Picks – 5 points of possible 6 (83%)
2 points for regulation win for predicted series victor; 1 for overtime win…

This series is really getting good. Edmonton is impressive! No matter how this series ends, it seems Edmonton has won a ton of respect league-wide.
