Game 5 Thursday 20 April at Montreal Rangers 3, Canadiens 2
Rangers lead Series 3-2
Game 6 Saturday 20 April at New York
Game 7 Monday 24 April at Montreal [If Necessary]
Prior to the Series, I picked Montreal in 5…
New York can take the series on home ice. To do so, they would need to win a third game in a row. Both teams have now won two in a row. The third has escaped them. Montreal takes Game 5. Game 6 is a toss-up even though it will be in Montreal.

Prior to Series, I picked Washington in 4…
The Caps evened the Series at a point at which I thought they would win it. They need to take Game 5 now. Toronto is not going away easily.
Timotheus Picks – 3 points of possible 8 (38%)
2 points for regulation win for predicted series victor; 1 for overtime win…

Pittsburgh wins Series, 4 Games to 1
Prior to Series, I picked Pittsburgh in 6…
I picked the series correctly, although I thought it would go a game further. Columbus pressed the Penguins hard, and should use this as a building block to next year.
Timotheus Picks – 8 points of possible 10 (80%)
2 points for regulation win for predicted series victor; 1 for overtime win…

Prior to the Series, I picked Chicago in 7…
Nashville shocked me, as did Chicago. The Predators are a force to be reckoned with. Right now I would say that they have an advantage on either the Blues or the Wild.
Timotheus Picks – 0 points of possible 8 (0%)
2 points for regulation win for predicted series victor; 1 for overtime win…
Minnesota Wild -vs- St. Louis Blues
Game 1 Wednesday 12 April at Minnesota Blues 2, Wild 1 [OT]

Game 5 Saturday 22 April at Minnesota
Game 6 Monday 24 April at St. Louis [If Necessary]
Game 7 Wednesday 26 April at Minnesota [If Necessary]
Prior to the Series, I picked Minnesota in 6…
The Wild escaped to liv another day. They have a long road, for they still face elimination and will need to win the next 3 games to take the series. I don’t foresee St. Louis loosing 4 straight. The Wild likely take Game 5 at home. St. Louis takes Game 6 at home and ends the series. The Blues do not want 7 games.
Timotheus Picks – 2 points of possible 8 (25%)
2 points for regulation win for predicted series victor; 1 for overtime win…
West – Pacific Bracket
Anaheim Ducks -vs- Calgary Flames
Game 1 Thursday 13 April at Anaheim Ducks 3, Flames 2
Game 2 Saturday 15 April at Anaheim Ducks 3, Flames 2
Game 3 Monday 17 April at Calgary Ducks 5, Flames 4 [OT]
Game 4 Wednesday 19 April at Calgary Ducks 3, Flames 1
Anaheim wins Series, 4 Games to 0
Prior to the Series, I picked Anaheim in 6…
I didn’t think Anaheim would take this series this quickly. And yet I think Calgary played better than this sweep would show. The Flames are heading in the right direction. It just wasn’t their year to dive deep into the playoffs. But that year is coming. Meanwhile Anaheim needs to focus on the fact that they will need to step up their game against either the Oilers or the Sharks to win this bracket and make it to the Championship Match for the Western Conference.
Timotheus Picks – 7 points of possible 8 (88%)
2 points for regulation win for predicted series victor; 1 for overtime win…
Edmonton Oilers -vs- San Jose Sharks
Game 1 Wednesday 12 April at Edmonton Sharks 3, Oilers 2 [OT]

Game 3 Sunday 16 April at San Jose Oilers 1, Sharks 0

Oilers lead Series 3-2
Game 6 Saturday 22 April at San Jose
Game 7 Monday 24 April at Edmonton [If Necessary]
Prior to the Series, I picked San Jose in 5…
The Oilers found a way to win. Unfortunately, they did so with the help of a player who should have been suspended for his shenanigans in Game 4. Now the Sharks face elimination. He good thing for San Jose is that this game will be in San Jose. The Sharks force Game 7.
Timotheus Picks – 3 points of possible 10 (30%)
2 points for regulation win for predicted series victor; 1 for overtime win…
Overall Timotheus Picks – 30 points of possible 70 (43%)
